Jonathan: Once, customers ordered from eight different hawker centres from different locations. It was the most interesting time for us to understand how we can innovate and better optimise such orders in future.

J:
1. Popiah is probably the healthiest because it has no oil. I once met an uncle who has sold popiah for over 30 years and he does not look like his age.
2. Double boiled soup with brown rice is another healthy dish.
3. Steamed egg with pork – shiok.
4. Oyster omelette – just too shiok!

J: Sambal stingray, carrot cake, Hokkien mee, sugarcane drink.

J: Sambal stingray and shiok carrot cake!

J: Hawkers are lagging behind the 21st century consumer purchase behaviour. For over 60 years, there has not been any breakthrough innovation on their sales operations. Thus, the trade is diminishing.

“Hawkers are lagging behind the 21st century consumer purchase behaviour.”

J: Most of the times, not much convincing is required. They know that online revenue is beneficial to their business.

J: Yes, sometimes.

“For the first time in history, it will be possible for them to generate online revenue.”

J: I would still be running foragoodcause™, an impact movement that aspires every living person in the world to enrich other’s lives through our daily routines.
