“The Vintage Negroni (SGD22++) is an Italian classic with a blend of three simple, yet complex measures of Gin, Vermouth and Campari. Savour a fusion of homemade sours that’s delicious and addictive. It’s the secret to enjoying a lingering, bittersweet taste under a moonlit night.”

Get ready for a culinary adventure. Located along Club Street, Caffé B offers contemporary, premium quality Italian cuisine with a Japanese touch in a friendly and relaxed setting. The social dining and bar concept marries the best of Italian culinary traditions with the artful finesses of Japanese culture for a romantic night out.

Arrive at the three storey, 170 seater venue and be greeted by an impressive bar on the ground floor.

Make your way upstairs and relax into a comfortable dining destination. With friendly customer care and chillout fine dining etiquette, this is the place to savour the depths of Italian traditional cooking and enjoy a refinement of Japanese flavours. Helmed by Chef Masanao Saito, the menu offers an innovative Japanese-Italian rendition of appetisers, mains, pastas and pizzas.

Featuring the finest seasonal ethnic ingredients, spoil yourselves silly with the Burrata Cheese (SGD18). Served with tomato jelly, Genovese sauce, sliced lemon peels, extra virgin olive oil, fresh basil and a garnish of edible flowers, the creamy cheese textures go well with simple crostinis from the kitchen.

Whet your appetite with the King Crab Croquette (SGD12). Creamy balls of king crab are rolled in crispy breaded batter then deep fried, served with truffle mayonnaise and prosciutto ham. Pair them with Hiroshima Oysters (SGD15) served on crushed ice with wasabi foam, ponzu jelly, ikura and yuzu dressing. It’s an explosion of flavours to come.

Ease into the mains with Risotto Squid Nero (SGD18). The Italian dish is sauteed in Jus de Mer, drizzled with chilli oil and black squid ink, tossed with buttered parmesan cheese, and served with seared scallop.

The highlight for two is the 500g T-Bone Steak (SGD58). Carnivores will relish the juicy Australian beef with baked seasonal vegetables, pommery mustard and Japanese vinegar sauce. It’s a party in the mouth with marbled meats, tender bites and subtle accompaniments.

Pescetarians can opt for the Black Cod & Cioppino (SGD36), a healthful blue flower swimmer crab soup with seasonal vegetables and savory.

With resident mixologist Michael helming the bar, sip on after-dinner drinks that showcase his latest spin on classic cocktail recipes in a sociable drinking setting.

The Classic Margarita (SGD25++) features oak barrel aged Los Azulejos Tequila Anejo as the base, a generous pour of Bartender Series spiced Gin, a dash of artisanal Mancino Ross Amaranto Vermouth and Orange & Grapes Bitters. Delicious, we say. A great tipple for conversations to flow freely all night.

With its own entrance, the third floor is allocated for intimate evenings of pure indulgence. Reserve for a momentous dinner celebration or a private setting for two. Either way, look for Manager Shahri Buhari. He is sure to make every dining occasion a special one.
